Glasgow Women’s Voluntary Sector Network

GWVSN brings together women who work in the voluntary sector, whether paid or unpaid providing a forum for sharing information, raising awareness on equality and diversity issues, acting as a united voice for women and women’s services and playing an active role in influencing policy and practice at strategic and grassroots level.

Our next events will be in 2017. Contact us on info@wisewomen.org.uk to receive updates if you aren’t already on our mailing lists.

We are currently hosted by Wise Women and have a core group of women from across the voluntary sector who meet at 6 weekly business meetings to plan and carry out our set objectives that includes:

  • Providing community events for women in Glasgow & GWVSN members on a wide variety of issues related to women’s equality and diversity.

  • Providing themed information and briefing sessions for Network members and services to increase awareness of the impact of discrimination and marginalisation, expand knowledge base and improve practice.

If you would like to join our mailing list and be kept informed of our work and then you can email lorna@wisewomen.org.uk

To receive an email newsletter about issues affecting women in Glasgow you can email kate.henderson@gcvs.org.uk
